In-kind Donations

In addition to monetary donations, we also rely on in-kind gifts from donors to support Source Force. Collected items are used for picnics and the Easter basket project.

Clothing

In addition to providing lunch and entertainment at picnics, we also give clients the chance to “shop” for free clothing. We have clients of all ages, shapes, and sizes. We provide summer clothing from April to August and winter clothing from October to February. The following are types of clothing we accept (in new or pass-as-new condition):

· Coats/Jackets
· Dresses/Skirts
· Hats/Scarves
· Pants/Shorts
· Shirts/Blouses
· Shoes/Socks
· Sweaters/Sweatshirts
· Underwear (new only please)

Food

At our monthly picnics, we provide a bag of groceries for clients to take home. We also put food items in our Easter baskets. We are interested in collecting non-perishable items that can be stored, such as canned goods and dried pasta.

Household Items

One activity during the picnics is a lively Bingo game, where all the clients play and everyone takes home a prize. These prizes are usually household items including, but not limited to, the following items (in new or pass-as-new condition):

· Bath towels/wash cloths
· Blankets/Pillows/Linens
· Books/CDs
· Candles/Knick-knacks
· Clocks/Watches
· Dishes/Pots/Pans
· Fans/Heaters
· Lamps
· Make-up/Jewelry
· Mirrors/Pictures
· Phones
· Radios
· Rugs
· Small Appliances
· Toys/Games

Many of these items are also used for our Easter baskets.

Toiletries

While we do give out toiletries at our picnics, most of the items collected in this category are used for our Easter baskets. As we make approximately 1,000 of these each year, the following items are always needed, as many of them are staples that are put in every basket:

· Deodorant
· Lotion
· Shampoo/Conditioner
· Razors/Shaving Cream
· Soap
· Toilet Paper/Tissues
· Toothbrushes/Toothpaste

Miscellaneous

In addition to the above items, we are always interested in collecting new or pass-as-new items that can be used by clients. Items like cleaning supplies, detergents, and office supplies are always welcome.
